Resume

I didn't learn most of my lessons about people in a classroom. I learned them from customers, coworkers, managers, patients, students, and plenty of difficult situations that didn't come with a textbook answer. Looking back, there are a few things I've never been very good at ignoring.

Some Things That Are Hard To Ignore:

The Little Guy

I've always believed that doing the right thing is usually more important than doing the easy thing. If I think someone is being treated unfairly, I'm willing to have the uncomfortable conversation.

Potential Going To Waste

Nothing frustrates me more than seeing people, businesses, or ideas settle for less than they're capable of. I enjoy finding what's working, what's missing, and what could be better.

”Good Enough”

I've never understood putting your name on something you aren't proud of. If something matters, it's worth the effort to do it well.

I've worked with enough people and been around enough difficult situations to know that you never really know what someone else is going through. Everyone is carrying something, and I've found that listening is usually more valuable than assuming.
