About Joseph
Hey, I’m Joseph.
I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and still call NC home, which means I was raised on fresh air, small towns, and learning how to appreciate the little details. Somewhere along the way, that turned into a love for storytelling, creativity, and building things that actually connect with people.
I’m currently finishing my degree in Advertising with a minor in Recreation Management, where I’ve been learning how brands communicate, how audiences think, and how creative ideas turn into real campaigns. I’m especially interested in social media advertising, branding, and media measurement. I love figuring out why people stop scrolling, what makes content feel authentic, and how strategy and creativity work best together.
I also love animals (if there’s a dog in the room, I will find it), film, and anything creative. My interest in film and storytelling plays a big role in how I approach advertising. I care about visuals, pacing, emotion, and making content feel human, not forced. Whether I’m researching competitors, building brand concepts, or shaping content ideas, I’m always thinking about how to tell a better story.
I’m naturally organized, detail-oriented, and slightly obsessed with improving things. I enjoy both brainstorming creative concepts and organizing the backend of projects. It’s a weird combo, but it makes me good at turning ideas into something structured and usable.
Outside of class, I’m usually working on personal creative projects, experimenting with branding, learning new tools, or hanging out with animals whenever I get the chance. I’m currently building this portfolio while preparing to graduate in 2026, with goals of working in social media management, advertising strategy, and creative production.
If you’re looking for someone who brings creativity, strategy, organization, and a mountain-raised perspective (plus a love for animals and film), I’d love to connect.
Let’s create something meaningful.
